Mysterious Ways...

My day started the same as any other Sunday, wake up, hit snooze, wake up again. Everything was on schedule until the phone rang... It was the stake executive secratary telling me that President Jorgenson (1st counselor in our stake presidency) wanted to meet with me before church. Never a good thing... J/K... maybe.
I was called as the 1st counselor in our Elders quarum, me... do they know me? I have to admit that it is a bit overwhelming, I am excited to jump in and figure it out, but holy crap. Kari was called as the ward humanitarian specialist, to add to her other enrichment chair calling. I guess you could say that they are putting us to work here in Chehalis. It is good for us, it will help us be better people. Thought some of you would get a kick out of it. Hope your testimonies are still intact, the Church is true!

  1. Congrats on the new calling! Being in the Primary for 6 YEARS, I was WAY excited to get my new calling in the Young Women's. It's exciting to have a change in your life even if it's a little overwhelming at first. Good luck with everything. Don't corrupt to many minds!

  2. holy crap dude!! (On finding my blog, getting married to a cute girl and being in the Elder's Quorum -in that order ;) Congrats and I know how you feel - I got called as YW president at 23 after I'd been in the ward for 2 weeks. It's the best though so no complaints. Good luck!!!!

  3. Congratulations on the callings! Your going to be great! Kari you probably don't know me but Devin is a good friend. I went to school down in Vegas and Devin was in our ward. Hey Devin, it's good to keep in touch and it looks like married life is treating you two well. I hope you don' mind but I just started into the blogging world not too long ago so it's fun to keep in touch and see what everyone is up to. I'll keep checkin in to see what's new and what fun things your up to. Good to see you two, you look so happy!
